Itinerary
Day 1 Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
Cross the High Atlas, passing Berber villages, and visit Telouet Kasbah and Aït Benhaddou on the way to Boumalne Dades.
Day 2 Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
Visit Todra Gorge, then continue to Merzouga for a camel ride or 4WD outing to the camp. The plan includes sunset on the dunes and music around the campfire.
Day 3 Merzouga
Watch the desert sunrise, then take a 4WD outing near Merzouga to Khamlia and Mifis. The itinerary includes a visit with nomads and Gnawa music in Khamlia.
Day 4 Merzouga to Fes
Travel north through Ziz Valley, the cedar forests and Ifrane before arriving in Fes.
Day 5 Fes
Walk through Fes medina, with visits to the leather tanneries and the spice and perfume markets.
Day 6 Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen
Stop at Bab Mansour and the Roman ruins of Volubilis before continuing to Chefchaouen. The itinerary lists the kasbah and Place Outa el Hammam among the city's sights.
Day 7 Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
Travel from Chefchaouen through Rabat, with stops at Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum, then continue to Casablanca.
Day 8 Casablanca to Marrakech
Visit Mohammad V Square and Hassan II Mosque before returning to Marrakech.
