hi, i'm hamid.

i was born in morocco and i've spent my whole life here. i'm a licensed guide. i grew up speaking arabic and darija, picked up french and spanish and english along the way, and somewhere in there i figured out i was happiest showing people around the country i'm from.

so i built a company to do exactly that.

why we exist

most morocco trips get sold by companies that have never set foot here. they buy an itinerary, mark it up, slap a stock photo on it. you land, get handed to a stranger, and get rushed through in a group of forty.

i hated that. so we do the opposite.

morocco travel experts is a licensed moroccan company, based in marrakech, run by people who actually live here. no big buses. small, private, tailor-made trips, mostly for families and couples coming from the us, uk, canada, australia and europe. the trip gets built around you, not the other way around.

the people

we're a small team and we like it that way.

i handle the guiding and the big-picture planning. then there's mohamed, who runs operations and keeps the whole machine moving. if your trip goes smooth, it's usually because of him.

kim handles our media and leads our women's tours. she's a big part of why our trips feel personal instead of packaged.

ahmed looks after clients before, during and after the trip. he's the voice on the other end of the phone if you ever need anything.

and behind us, a handful of licensed guides and drivers we've worked with for years. not people we found last week. people we'd trust with our own families.

what we actually care about

we speak the language. all of them. darija with the guy at the market, french with the riad owner, english with you. that sounds small but it isn't. it means we catch what other operators miss, and we usually fix problems before you even notice them.

we're not the biggest company in morocco and we're not trying to be. big means buses and scripts and forty strangers. small means we remember your kids' names and what your mom can't eat.

mostly we just want you to go home loving this place as much as we do.
