Your 2-day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga commences with an early morning collection from your hotel or riad. As you depart Marrakech, you will journey through the stunning High Atlas Mountain Range, pausing to absorb the breathtaking scenery. After a scenic mid-day meal stop, you will proceed to Merzouga, your ultimate destination. In the afternoon, dromedaries are prepared to guide you through the Erg Chebbi Sand Crests. You will pause atop a high dune to witness an entrancing twilight. Then, you will continue your dromedary ride to the desert encampment, where you will find your private tent. Today, we advise that you rise early in the morning to observe a magnificent dawn. After a delightful breakfast, we will depart from the camp in a 4×4 vehicle, heading to the town of Merzouga. From there, our journey takes us back to the vibrant city of Marrakech, with several stops along the way, including a lunch break. One noteworthy stop is at the panoramic viewing point of the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, an iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This well-preserved settlement is also a sought-after location for film producers, with numerous movies and TV series, such as Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones, selecting it as a setting for their productions.
